These conveyors are mainly used for the small wet ferrous chips. This helps in recovering the costly fluids that are used for machining. When the chips fall on the magnetic conveyor (stainless steel) l that is stand still. Conveyors is running below the stainless steel sheet. Magnets are connected to the chain. Chips stick to the magnets & are carried to the chips Trolley. Oil/Coolant is recovered back to the tank.

Magnetic separation is a filtration process in which ferromagnetic or paramagnetic particles are removed from a process line. The process is achieved by applying an electrical current to a wire mesh or matrix, thereby including a magnetic field. When a solution or gas is passed through the mesh, any magnetic particles are attracted to the focus of the magnetic field and are filtered out of the flow.

WORKING The contaminated coolant from the machine is fed into the inlet of magnetic separator. The dust particular are attracted and arrested by the magnetic drum. The magnetic drums attracts the dust particles when it goes between body and drum with the help of a scrapers dust and allows squeezes by a synthetic rubber roller mounted on the spring drive power stored into the dust collecting tray.
